Position Title: Dining Services Coordinator Date: April 2024
Reports To: Chef Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: Part-time, Hourly (20 Hours)
GENERAL SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Dining Service Coordinator is to work closely with the Chef Manager and Dining Services staff. This role is responsible for administrative duties in the Dining Services department. Tasks in this role include taking This position is the face of Dining Services and will work with residents to assist with meals ordering, billing inquiries as well as other matters. They will also assist with processing invoices, data entry and maintaining the Dining Services eMenu Choice system. Maintain supplies and equipment such as uniform inventory and communicate needs to appropriate departments. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. The overall objective is to ensure that the entire dining experience is the highlight of the resident's day and to assist in ensuring the department runs smoothly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Running reports as needed for Dining Services staff.
· Assist Chef Manager with budgetary information such as ingredients and supply costs.
· Responsible for coordinating with the Finance Department to ensure invoices are processed and paid correctly.
· Responsible for other administrative duties such as filing invoices, billing, communicating information to the proper departments.
· Dining Services timesheet/payroll approver in coordination with Chef Manager.

Requirements
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES·
Strong computer skills required. Excel, Word, online systems etc. · High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)Should have at least two years’ experience of experience in dining services or other office administration.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English is needed.
- Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without aid.
- Physically able to bend, reach, and work in small areas.
