Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to ensure the well-being of residents
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in assisted living or nursing home settings
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Basic understanding of medical procedures and ability to take vital signs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

• This position requires working 12 hour shifts ( 8:00 - 8:00), rotating weekends. There will be a team lead, with 4 team members. It is expected the team work together to provide the services. It is important team members are reliable, dependable, and flexible when needed. The services at this house are not group home services, they are supported living, but the staffing is similar to a group home.
