Event Coordinator / Curator

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Event Coordinator/Curator with a passion for creating memorable experiences. As an Event Coordinator/Curator, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events, including but not limited to corporate functions, social gatherings, fundraisers, and community events. Your exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be instrumental in delivering outstanding events. Weekend availability is essential, as this role requires working events and functions that often take place on weekends.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Management:

Creative Event Design:

• Conceptualize and develop creative event themes, decorations, and experiences to engage attendees.
• Coordinate with designers, artists, and other creative professionals to bring event
• visions to life.
• Oversee the development of promotional materials, invitations, and event
• collateral.

On-site Event Coordination:

• Supervise event staff and volunteers, assigning responsibilities and providing
• guidance.
• Ensure seamless event execution by overseeing registration, guest management,
• and program scheduling.
• Resolve any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, making quick
• decisions to maintain event flow and guest satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and attendees, providing
• exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Proven experience in event planning and execution, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to deliver unique event experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain
• relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
