Technical Writer/Document Control Administrative Assistant is responsible for developing clear, concise, and accurate project documentation and work instructions, managing and organizing documents related to company operations. The job description may include the following duties and responsibilities:
From existing text-based work instructions, the technical writer creates and implements clear, accurate, and concise visual Product Summary Report (PSR) work instructions for manufactured product in accordance with all applicable Quality Operating System Procedures (OSP).
For each conversion project, the technical writer identifies and recommends process changes to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
The technical writer serves as a member of the Project Launch Team to help ensure a timely information transfer and completion of engineering activities for project launches and changes.
The technical writer / document control administrative assistant acts as a manufacturing advocate within the Project Engineering Team.
The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, they should have experience with document management systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A background in administrative support or records management is also preferred.
