Position: Discovery Paralegal

Compensation: $22 - $30 per hour

Reason for Hiring: We continue to expand rapidly, and our diligent Litigation team is seeking a highly motivated Discovery Paralegal to join us. As a Discovery Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys throughout the discovery process. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and contribute to achieving justice for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting attorneys in drafting and responding to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Reviewing, organizing, and summarizing documents and records related to ongoing cases.
• Conducting legal research to support case preparation.
• Assisting with case management, including maintaining calendars, tracking deadlines, and managing documents.
• Preparing and filing legal documents with courts as needed.
• Collaborating with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel in a professional and effective manner.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Prior paralegal experience in a litigation setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal research tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
