Roberts Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Office Receptionist Near Wichita, KS

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to our patients. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.

Office Hours: NO FRIDAYS!! Monday-Thursday 730am - 5pm

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our phone system
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 months experience required
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
