GENERAL PURPOSE
Process Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable, develops spreadsheets, verifies data from external systems, reconciles daily checks and general ledger accounts all in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
MAIN JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBLITIES
*Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with company guidelines.
*Accounts Payable
*Manage and pay all utilities and security for 29 branches
*Match invoices with approved purchase orders
*Identify and resolve issues impacting AP and contact vendors as needed.
*Daily processing of credit card transactions.
*Prepare weekly garnishment payments.
*Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
*Prepare weekly payment of HOA invoices.
*Improve accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures to increase efficiency.
*Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
*Assist with annual 1099 preparation
*Provide accounting support for field operations and external auditors.
*Serve as back-up for Accounts Payable and Account Receivable Functions.
*Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
*Other duties as assigned by the President, Asst. Controller, Controller and/or Chief Executive Officer
*Adheres to the Codes of Conducts Policy and Employee Handbook
*Demonstrate high level of understanding of technology application with company’s programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
*Minimum of an associate degree in accounting and/or a minimum of three years of proven track record in accounting.
*Microsoft Dynamics GP experience or similar ERP experience required.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Position requires candidate have own transportation with current / valid automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license for the state in which he/she resides.
Work Hours:
This position is an hourly position from 8 am – 4pm. The work schedule may be changed at any time by the Vice President, President, Controller and/or Chief Executive Officer.
