Technical Response, Inc. is Hiring a Production Associate I Near Knoxville, TN

Description

Job Summary:

The Production Associate position performs tasks involved in the production of the company’s products by operating equipment to efficiently create plastic products, inspect and package products according to company standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a mid-to fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties:

· Operate packaging and automation equipment to develop company plastic products according to specified standards and production schedules.

· Monitor equipment performance and trouble shoot issues to ensure continuous operation.

· Ensure products meet quality standards

· Package and palletize production parts ensuring UPC labels and box labels are correctly placed on the products, boxes & pallets

· Completes shift paperwork completely & correctly

· Assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials. 

· Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. 

· Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. 

· Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment

· Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements and waste reduction within the plant and propose those ideas to Management.

· Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards

· All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

· High School diploma or GED preferred

· Minimum of one year manufacturing experience preferred 

· Plastics experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, squat, bend and walk a minimum of twelve (12) hours per shift.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in basic English.

• Ability to regularly lift 40 lbs and occasionally up to 65 lbs 

• Hand and wrist dexterity to twist, pull and push regularly for twelve (12) hour shift

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. The position requires long hours and weekend work.

Travel:

No travel is expected.
