Shift: 4 - 10 hour shifts/shift starts at approx. 5:30 am

- Prepare the dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
- Ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
- Document required patient education efforts.
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
- Lead a small patient care team.
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
- Additional tasks as requested.
