Bank of Clarke is Hiring a Fiduciary Specialist Near Winchester, VA

Description

Position Purpose: As a Fiduciary Specialist in our Trust Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of fiduciary accounts and providing exceptional support to senior team members. By diligently managing the duties in the “What you’ll do” section, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our Trust Department, ensuring the highest level of fiduciary service for our clients.

What you’ll do

  • Complete monthly Regulation 9 reviews for officer approval.
  • Gather data and prepare Trust Committee document package.
  • Maintain real estate tracking, inspections, and vendor interface.
  • Gain understanding of routine trust operations.
  • Update and maintain Trust Department forms. 
  • Review routine client bill payment and tracking.
  • Participate in team efforts to prepare client Investment Policy Statements.
  • Execute securities trades at officer instruction.
  • Coordinate transfers of securities into the Department.
  • Coordinate client investment reviews. 
  • Help to manage future fee documents and inquiries.
  • Review and document investment concentrations and directed holdings.
  • Coordinate client online account access. 
  • Assist with coordination of tax return preparation, filing, and fee assessments.
  • Conduct polished, professional interface with fiduciary clients.
  • Complete assigned fiduciary training and other development opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze personal financial statements and tax returns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to operating system and/or financial software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Decision making skills.
  • Detail and thoroughness in attention to documentation.

Working Conditions:

The individual will be required to be available after normal working hours. Business travel may be necessary to meet with vendors and attend training opportunities.
