Position Title: Private Chauffeur
Employment Status: Full Time
Pay Rate: $15 per hour for training; $20 pay raise after probation period. Plus tips
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Chauffeur is a professional who drives clients around in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. In addition to maintaining regular cleaning services for their vehicle, as well as managing payments on time after each transaction. A chauffeur is responsible for planning and adjusting routes based on road and weather conditions. They must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring that there is always enough gas in the tank for their destination. Chauffeurs will take care of maintenance on interior cleanliness before arriving where needed by time constraints set out within an organization requirement. Ultimately, always represent yourself and the company with confidence and class. This will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on 550 Group for their transportation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Driving company owned, luxury vehicles for clients to their desired destinations
  • The Cleaning and maintaining the vehicles, including taking the truck to designated area for clean out, fresh water/soap/disinfectant and fuel for the next day
  • Following proper protocol for vehicle use, safety and equipment
  • Monitoring the need for major repairs, including engine tune-up, oil change, filter change, and tire replacements by verbal and written communication to management
  • Pre-planning and using navigation apps to determine the best route, adjusting to avoid heavy traffic and construction
  • Opening and closing the doors for all clients
  • Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage and bags
  • Engage with clients: answer questions, music preference, offer refreshments
  • Performing other duties as assigned or requested within safe and reasonable standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
  • Have a current and valid Driver?s License
  • Have and maintain current and valid Car Insurance
  • Clean driving record proving the ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to adjust and properly operate vehicles of different sizes and models
  • A polite and professional disposition always
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public
  • You must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers and most importantly our clients
  • Ability to work independently and honestly (time sheets, client interactions, vehicle damages)
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle under varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence (written and/or verbal)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED WORK ATTIRE:
  • Drivers are required to dress professionally and wear the colors black and white only.
  • Bottoms: Black slacks (black khakis, golf shorts options available in summer months)
  • Tops: Black suit jacket, black or white button up
  • Black Tie (optional: more professional look)
  • Shoes: Loafers, Dress shoes and socks
