**The Erosion Company (TEC)** is currently hiring **Drivers**. TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast. TEC offers excellent pay based on experience and great long-term career potential for top performers! **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
* Drive a company vehicle with a 2-3 person crew.
* Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among crew members.
* Load and unload materials as needed.
* Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
* Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
* Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Must be at least 21 years old.
* Must have a valid drivers license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
* Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
* Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English.
* Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
* Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
* Must have prior work experience as a driver.
* Must have prior experience in operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
* Prior experience driving or ton trucks, with a 20 foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
* Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
