Billing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Billing Manager with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to join our team at New Horizons In Home Care - Eugene. The Billing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the billing process and ensuring all invoices are collected and discrepancies in claims are resolved in a timely manner. This is a full-time salaried position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate private pay and third-party billing
• Ensure adequacy in application of payments
• Oversee daily workflow of billing department
• Updates of billing policies, procedures and methods
• Assist in the development of weekly and monthly reports
• Assist in resolution of billing discrepancies, understanding when to escalate
• Maintain a strong working relationship with clients and state case workers
• Perform other clerical or supervisory duties as needed

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Billing and/or Accounting
• Experience with large client base and high transaction volume
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Oregon State and VA billing experience is a plus
