Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Systems Lead to join our team. As a Control Systems Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our projects. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for various projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define system specifications
- Create detailed design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts
- Program and configure control systems using FPGA technology
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in designing and implementing control systems
- Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as MicroStation or Revit
- Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations
- Experience with scripting languages for automation purposes
- Knowledge of quantum engineering principles is a plus
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C is preferred
