Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries to promote healing, provide pain relief, and improve their overall physical function. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and educate patients on exercises and techniques to aid their recovery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical history, physical condition, and needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, exercises, and activities to help patients regain mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Administer therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate
- Instruct patients in home exercise programs and provide guidance on proper body mechanics
- Monitor patients' progress, document findings, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments
- Provide education and support to patients and their families/caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Proven experience in performing a wide range of physical therapy techniques and treatments
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, injuries, and rehabilitation methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Physical stamina to perform necessary tasks and assist patients
