We are seeking a skilled Compliance & Security Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Microsoft 365 security stack, with specific experience in configuration and monitoring of Microsoft Purview and Entra ID. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
• Monitor and configure Microsoft Purview and Entra ID to ensure user compliance with corporate policies.
• Analyze and establish security, data governance and compliance policies.
• Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destruction.
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate compliance / security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
• Conduct investigations and provide reports on security incidents, including potential causes and suggested remediation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on authentication, authorization, and encryption solutions.
• Evaluate security violations to identify trends, recommend security enhancements, and determine how such incidents can be prevented in the future.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with extensive use of the Microsoft 365 security stack.
• Proven experience in configuration and monitoring of Microsoft Purview.
• Strong understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure as relates to compliance.
• Thorough understanding of SIEM solutions including creation of searches and alerting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working on multiple complex projects concurrently.
