Broadridge is hiring for a Quality Control Inspector at our Edgewood, NY location! In this role, you will Inspect materials for accuracy and high quality, identify problems and seek for solutions to prevent errors within the operations environment. You will also be responsible for communicating, promoting, and incorporating the environment of Quality. Are you looking to join one of the leaders in the Fin Tech industry? If so, we’d love to hear from you! This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. Rersponsibilities: Inspect/ verify printed media, materials, and postage through the sign off process Provide necessary feedback/ escalation to proper management if standards are not met, including active communication between shifts, with peers and across departments Proficient knowledge of all in house systems specific to each area of responsibility Cross train in all applicable areas to ensure quality goals are met and exceeded Verify that all jobs are properly reconciled and closed in a timely manner accurately Finalize Control Envelopes, Print Requests for completed jobs, accurately reconcile batches/IDF files having piece count discrepancies Provide training for continuous improvement, new associates and cross training opportunities Supports the Broadridge team with an overall goal of quality, efficiency and productivity, ensuring that employees understand and comply with all company guidelines and ISO standards when carrying out quality control processes Record and report information about accuracy/errors and damaged items Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to take direction and to work under pressure due to time constraints as necessary Have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned, in particular in performing activities that are repetitive in nature Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects Hourly Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience Annual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00 Benefits: Medical, dental, life, and vision insurance. 401k w/ match, parental leave, and more.
