Livingston Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center is a 120 bed one-floor skilled nursing facility located in Hudson, NY.
We are currently seeking Unit Assistants to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Report to Morning Nursing Supervisor/manager when arriving on duty for floor assignment.
- Begin to transport residents to designated dining area for meals and assist seating at appropriate table.
- Dining Room Procedure: assist with handwashing, distribute beverages.
- Meal/Tray delivery. Assist residents with obtaining alternates, opening containers etc.
- Assist with transport back to units.
- Assist activity staff with transportation to programs.
- Supervise residents in patio area during nice weather.
- Provide positive interaction with residents and supervise Community areas as needed.
- Assist with meal service, passing and collecting of trays
- Transport residents to designated dining area for meals
- Escort residents to off-site appointments
- Tidy up resident’s rooms, linen closets, and make bed
- Supervise residents outdoor if weather permits
- Additional duties may be assigned by nursing administration
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

All skilled nursing staff are required to have the COVID vaccination per NYS DOH guidelines.
