We are searching for a multi-media talk show host to work with the stations existing co-host, who can create engaging and informative content for use on air, online and on social media thatserves Indianapolis talk radio fans and generates ratings and revenue. This person should be deeply connected to the news cycle and be able to credibly discuss local and national topics, pop culture, sports and have interests beyond politics. Should have a track record of hosting success, including an ability to develop, expand, and advance stories. Would be open to music station personalities with strong interest in the news cycle. Must be able to develop a strong collaborative relationship with other on-air hosts, our partners, contributors, the digital media team and others in the organization.

Qualified candidates will have exceptional writing and social media skills. Being comfortable on camera is necessary. Must be a self-motivator and create strong collaborative relationships with on-air hosts, contributors, the digital media team and others in the organization. Willingness to work a flexible schedule is a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Host or co-host a daily a daily radio show

* Write, produce, edit and update content for on air, website and social media on a daily basis.

* Host podcasts and videocasts

* Make paid and non-paid appearances and broadcasts on behalf of the station

* Communicate daily with co-host, producer and programming management to ensure programming goals are met

* Cooperation with sales department and clients

* Other duties as assigned by management

* Be an exceptional verbal and written communicator

* Have strong social media skills

Be able flexible with work hours/duties

Can be a positive member of a tight-knit team

Able to work independently with little supervision

Must be open and responsive to coaching

Working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, and social media platforms

Education/Experience:

* 2-5 years overall radio, television or other media experience.
