DUTIES
- Prep rooms ensuring supplies and room are in order for patient care
- Room patients, take medical history vitals and reason for the visit
- Handle blood draw, injections, taking and preparing specimens for labwork
- Call in prescriptions and assisting with triage of patient calls
- Back up front office when needed with appointments and check-ins
- Must be a formally trained medical assistant with a certificate from authorized school
- Strong blood draw skills with recent work experience drawing blood
- Skilled at drawing up and giving injections
- Open to proactively stepping in helping Front or Back Office as needed without issue
- Profession phone and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate work, prioritize, complete tasks and ask for assistance when needed
- Punctual, dependable to arrive for and effectively work scheduled hours without interruption
- M-F 8:30a-5:30p some days may require an extra half hour or so for patient needs so some end-of-day flexibility is needed. Overtime pay provided when additional work hours are needed.
- Up to 4 weeks PTO accrued based on work schedule, Paid holidays
- Hourly $22 based on experience
