Family-owned business seeking a full-time bookkeeper to manage 700 properties, owners, and tenant ledgers efficiently. Salary is based on experience. Hours will be Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. This is not a virtual position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial Management of 700 residential properties
• Responsible for posting all payments and income received accurately, timely, and efficiently
• Responsible for posting of all charges to resident and non-current resident accounts; to also include bill back of utilities where applicable
• Maintain accurate and organized records; auditing resident files to ensure accurate records
• Responsible for posting all move-out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds
• Responsible for helping to compile monthly reports as needed
• Responsible for paying owners and printing/emailing monthly owner packets through the AppFolio portal
• Responsible for paying vendors weekly.
• Additional duties/responsibilities as assigned
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years experience in bookkeeping
• AppFolio (preferred)
• Proficient in Excel
