Summary:

Cutting Edge Manufacturing (“CEM”) is looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist (“CSS”). The CSS interacts directly with customers, promptly provides customers with assistance, and follows-up with customers to ensure 100% satisfaction. The CSS assists with the sales of new and existing customers and projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Communicate directly with customers via phone, electronically, or face-to-face

· Respond to customers promptly and provide excellent customer service

· Maintain customer list and parts list

· Communicate effectively and timely with the CEM staff, including escalation of issues

· Prepare work orders and service work orders

· Process service, PM, warranty orders, including job creation and billings

· Follow-up on service orders

· Make sales calls, sales emails, and occasional site visits for sales and service

· Print blueprints for owner and operations, when needed

· Other duties as assigned by owner

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Associates Degree in Accounting, or a related field preferred

· Previous Customer Service experience (2-3 years preferred)

· Excellent communication, math, and reasoning skills

· Ability to sell CEM products and services to customers and potential customers

· Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365

· Ability to get along well with others and contribute to a positive work environment

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and stay on task

· Ability to type and enter data quickly, and process work timely

· Must have a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive to local customer locations when needed

· Manual dexterity to type, handle and file paperwork, write, dial a phone, and utilize office equipment, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds, climb, bend, reach, sit, and travel to shop floor when needed
