Valley Christian Schools is an independent college preparatory school focusing on Christian Education for preschool through grade 12. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver instruction to High School level students at a Private Christian College Preparatory school
• Teach Humanities subjects, including Rhetorical and Composition studies, as well as American Literature.
• Collaborate with other Humanities teachers in maintaining a solid learning environment
• Develop and deliver lessons and assessments according to curriculum objectives
• Ensure each student meets learning objectives for each course
• Apply Biblical principles to lessons and student learning experiences

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• English/Humanities/History Education or related degree desirable
• BA required
• MA preferred
• Subject area or Multiple Subject CA teaching credential desirable, but may work toward this
• MUST reside in the Bay Area
