Your role

The Client Success department is focused on client retention and relationship building. You will be assisting the Client Success Executives in accomplishing that goal.

You’ll have the opportunity to shadow and sit in on real client and internal team-facing interactions. Most meetings happen over Zoom. Most communication happens over email.

You will report directly to a Senior Client Success Executive. You’ll have a recurring 1:1 meeting with your direct manager. This is a touch point that is focused on you. We use this touchpoint to answer any questions, address issues, help problem solve, discuss professional development opportunities, etc.

What that looks like

  • Shadowing Client Success Executives on real client calls like: every-other-week client success calls, key project milestone meetings, etc.
  • Shadowing on internal calls: Internal team interactions, calls between the projects and client success departments, etc.
  • Helping with client “Welcome” packages, sending gifts to celebrate anniversaries/birthdays/other special occasions, writing handwritten thank you notes to our clients, etc.
  • Helping to schedule meetings with our clients and internal team
  • Helping to create the onboarding decks for new client engagements
  • Helping with specific communication touchpoints like: Updating status documents, updating ClickUp active work lists and communicating that out to the team via Slack
  • Sitting in on the weekly 1-hour department meeting
  • Skilling up and taking on additional responsibility as you grow, seamlessly moving from shadowing to assisting, to executing select tasks
  • Learning about the inner workings of a digital marketing agency, seeing how departments like Client Success, Strategy, and Content all work together
  • Reading constantly; you’ll read foundational books on customer and client success
  • Listening to podcasts that focus on customer and client success, and other podcasts that give you a bigger picture of working at an agency
