Reynolds Primary Care, a Division of Virginia Physicians, Inc., is rapidly growing and currently seeking a full-time receptionist to join our front desk team.

As a receptionist you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in the office and over the phone.

Responsibilities of the medical receptionist includes but are not limited to:

  • Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering and screening incoming phone calls, taking messages and providing information as needed
  • Collecting and entering required patient information into an EMR
  • Calling patients to verify patient upcoming appointments
  • Collecting patient co-pays and generating receipts for monies collected
  • Assisting with keeping the waiting room neat, organized, and disinfected
  • Attending staff meetings as requested
  • Adhering to safety standards and maintaining HIPAA/OSHA compliance

Qualifications:

  • Educational requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • Medical terminology a plus
  • Data entry experience a plus (using an EMR)

In Order to be Considered for This Position You Must Have at Least One Year of Experience Working in Healthcare.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
