Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Room Attendant for The Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown in Seattle, WA.

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our amazing team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms. You will address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

We look for flexibility with workdays and hours, including working weekends and some holidays. Typical schedule is either 8:30am-5pm and 9am-5:30pm. We can adjust schedule to work with your availability!

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen and make beds
• Replace used towels
• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets
• Clean bathrooms
• Dust furniture
• Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• Follow hotel security guidelines

Skills

• At least one (1) year of previous work experience as a Hotel Room Attendant or Hotel Maid
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Good physical health and stamina
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma is a plus

This is the perfect job for someone who likes to clean, has an impeccable eye for detail, enjoys being active throughout the day, land thrives in a self-directed work situation. This position involves continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-40 pounds.
