VOX DJs, a high-volume, industry leading live events company operating out of CA & AZ, is seeking reliable and enthusiastic people to add to our production staff. No experience necessary (training is provided), but priority will go toward candidates with professional or amateur experience in venue/theater lighting, live audio production, video, film, TV, music, or event coordination/production. This is a great opportunity for Lighting Technicians, DJs, photographers, students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to be a part of Live Events while earning extra money on the weekends.
Events take place every day of the week, most commonly on weekends, and especially on Saturdays, so candidates should be available to work events Friday-Sunday unless requesting time-off in advance.
Common responsibilities include:-Picking up gear from our office and driving it to and from an event-Setting up lighting, sound equipment, staging, effects, & photo booths-Operating a slideshow, video-switcher, or lighting effects (Controlled/DMX experience a major plus!)-Attending a photo booth
Qualifications
Candidates must have:-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (you may need to transport equipment)-Positive attitude & willingness to learn-Attention and respect to the details-Ability to lift heavy equipment (sometimes in excess of 50lbs) in and out of vehicles-Great communication skills and ability to take direction while working as part of a team-Consistent dependability, strong ethics, and a well-developed sense of personal responsibility
