The Role

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an emerging global brand. The Head of Retail (the “Head”) is responsible for leading all retail operations at SPYSCAPE HQ in New York City. The role will initially report to the Founder & CEO

Primary responsibilities

• Improve retail performance at SPYSCAPE HQ as measured in $ sales per visitor
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, reporting, sourcing, staff development and training

Essential abilities

• Excellent communicator
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Detailed, diligent, thorough, reliable
• Knowledge of Netsuite and SCIS POS and inventory systems
• Organizational skills and entrepreneurial spirit
• 5 years of successful management, sales and retail product design experience

Additional Specifics

• Team motivator and sales strategist
• Develop, administer and implement store policies and procedures
• Provide oversight of retail stock management and quality control standards
• Establish sales targets and develop and train staff to meet them
• Create and maintain in-store visual merchandising and brand standards
• Proactively propose improvements for retail products, operations and sales efficiencies
• Produce sales, inventory and budget reports periodically, and ad-hoc as needed
• Manage pricing, range mark-downs and promotion strategies as needed
• Ensure the highest level of customer service to all visitors
• Oversee E-commerce site updates and improvements
