Job Summary:
Jenkins Mazda of Ocala is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor position in the auto industry located in Ocala, Florida. The Used Car Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and profitability of our used car department.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the used car department, including inventory, reconditioning, pricing, and sales
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability
- Create and maintain relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and other sources to acquire used car inventory
- Ensure proper merchandising and display of vehicles on our lot
- Price vehicles competitively and monitor market trends to make adjustments as needed
- Oversee reconditioning process and ensure that vehicles are properly prepared for sale
- Manage and train a team of salespeople to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Work closely with the finance department to secure financing and complete the sales process
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, as well as the latest Mazda products and features
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient buying experience for our customers
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Used Car Manager in the auto industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing a used car department and achieving sales goals
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
