Job Summary:
Immediate interview availability! We are seeking a room inspector to join our team. This position will work in the afternoons with our housekeeping department to ensure all brand standards and cleanliness standards are met within guest rooms, and that all issues are corrected and negative trends within rooms are reported to management. It is imperative that the person filling this role has consistent attention to detail and pride in their work.
Duties:
- Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas
- Inspect and ensure all guest requests and brand standards are met and exceeded with
every rentable guest room.
- Ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and safety regulations
- Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to management
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to management
- Assist in training new cleaning staff on proper procedures
Skills:
- Experience in floor care, hotels/hospitality, industrial cleaning, custodial, and
housekeeping management
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong sense of independence and accountability to be able to meet the time constraints
while maintaining the standards set forth.
