Description:
The Pricing Department at Scott Electric is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining product selling prices. The Pricing Analyst will be expected to research and interpret market conditions and evaluate competitive feedback in order to create and implement pricing strategies. This position will lead to additional responsibilities within the department as it relates to the ongoing transition and implementation to the new CloudSuite ERP system.
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Scale: $20.75 DOE
Responsibilities:
· Provide sales staff with non-stock product quotes
· Utilize cost information, market research and competitive information to create and implement an aggressive pricing strategy
· Create, update and adjust individual product prices within a multiple “Price Class” system
· Maintain per-account product contract prices
· Data entry and “File Maintenance” tasks
Qualifications:
· Detail oriented with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Possess basic mathematical ability
· Computer and technology skills including the use of Windows-based computers and web browsers
· Competent typing skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Self-motivated with the ability to focus on and switch between multiple ongoing tasks and responsibilities
· Must work well independently and with others
