Job Title: Volkswagen and Porsche Automotive Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks on Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
3. Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
4. Perform engine, transmission, and brake repairs or replacements as needed.
5. Complete service and repair orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all work performed and parts used.
6. Keep up-to-date with Volkswagen and Porsche technical training and certifications.
7. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures and provide accurate estimates for work.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair preferred.
2. Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, specifically with Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles.
3. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, particularly those found in Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles.
4. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in awkward positions.
2. Stamina and physical endurance to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
