The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), provides direct patient care services in collaboration with facility team. Responsible for coordinating and supervising patient care according to the policies, philosophy and objectives of the organization. Ensures patient care needs are met through education, performance and evaluation of clinical outcomes.
Position responsibilities and duties include:
1. Knowledge of medication including dosing and recommendations
2. Perform physical exam and patient observations
3. Record medical histories and symptoms,
4. Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests,
5. Create medical plan of care and contribute to existing plan of care
6. Monitor/analyze patient progress
7. Counseling
8. Diagnose health issues
9. Prescribe medications and treatments and evaluate
10. Consult with healthcare professionals
11. Educate patient and families
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Computer proficiency including use of EMR software and meaningful use
2. The ability to manage high levels of stress in a busy environment
3.Technical skills that enable the use of advanced medical instruments
4. Very detailed oriented and organized with a professional and pleasant personality to staff, patients, and family members
5. Punctuality and great attendance is a must
The candidate must be board certified, actively licensed, and have a current DEA or be eligible for a license. Canidate will work for both Clinics.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
