Trash Fairies LLC is Hiring a District Manager Near Charlotte, NC

This position, based in Charlotte, NC and reports directly to Regional Operations Manager and Senior VP of Sales and Operations.

Day Time Responsibilities (est. 60% of responsibilities/time spent)

  • Roll out Trash Fairies service to new properties
  • Deliver Trash Fairies trash bins to properties (may include collection/storage of trash bins from a former service provider)
  • Manage and secure storage of trash bin and roll cart inventory (Trash Fairies trash bins are for residents’ use; roll carts are for Trash Fairies’ service)
  • Promptly attend to customer service issues and implement quality control (e.g., adding “hot doors” to WAND app, courier coaching, etc.)
  • Under direction/guidance, de-escalate and resolve all customer service issues, working respectfully and efficiently w/ property managers (and residents, when necessary)
  • Visit customer/property sites regularly and as needed to ensure that couriers have everything that they need to be successful pickups
  • Make sure that you have back-up plans in place for courier no-show situations
  • Assist Manager with customer/property visits, delivery of trash cans and magnets, etc.
  • Maintain Trash Fairies vehicle service needs, and drive it carefully
  • Additional duties as assigned/necessary to get the job done

Nightly Responsibilities (Assistant/Area Manager) (est. 40% of responsibilities/time spent)

  • Assist Regional Manager with all nighttime duties and operations in assigned territory
  • Fill in and cover shifts as needed
  • Manage a team of area couriers
  • Promptly attend to customer service issues and implement quality control measures
  • De-escalate and resolve all customer/property service issues, properly and efficiently, with property managers (and residents, when necessary)
  • Monitor courier check-in app (the WAND app) to make sure couriers in assigned territory are checked in and on-time each night and that they check out promptly after completion of their route for courier monitoring and for payroll purposes
  • Make/take phone calls from couriers and handle issues that arise (usually from 7pm to 10pm on pickup nights)
  • Coordinate with backup couriers as needed to ensure that pickup routes are covered for couriers who take days off (or are as “no show”)
  • Implement quality control back-sweeps and/or fill in where needed to assure no gap in Trash Fairies’ service
  • Additional duties as assigned/necessary to get the job done

Overnight Travel

  • There will be some overnight travel to other sites/ states involved in your assigned territory outside of the TN area as needed (e.g.,property roll outs, problem solving, Trash Fairies’ bin delivery, etc.)Trash Fairies to pay for reasonable meals and company-related travel expenses.

FULL-TIME AT-WILL POSITION

  • W-2 employee, $50,000 per year salary, plus potential Quarterly Bonus performance-based bonuses (from $250-$750 per quarter).

Benefits:

  • 2 weeks paid time off per year not to conflict with new property roll outs, scheduled ahead of time.
  • Trash Fairies health/dental/vision company insurance policy provided/ individual (currently paid 100% by Trash Fairies for the employee only). Note: addition of immediate family members to the policy is available at 100% cost to the employee
  • Trash Fairies work vehicle to drive as needed for work purposes (and minor personal use as well)
  • Company credit card for Trash Fairies expenses only (e.g., Trash Fairies’ vehicle gas/maintenance, reasonable travel meals, company-related travel expenses, etc.)
  • Simple IRA program with 3% max company match
