Swim Check in Attendant
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary
The Swim Check-In Attendant is under direct supervision of the Athletics and Youth Activities Manager and is responsible for assisting with swim check in and billing. He or she provides exceptional customer service to our members and guests. Other responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails and program and event promotion. The Swim Check-In Attendant is expected to take initiative and show diligence with the areas of responsibility listed to uphold an exceptional experience for the Horseshoe Bend CC members and guests.Job Duties
1. Projects a positive image of self and HBCC at all times.
2. Passionate about creating an exceptional experience for all members and their guests.
3. Engages effectively and interacts well with members and their guests.
4. Is knowledgeable of and answers Member questions regarding HBCC programs, Swim programs, merchandise, and events.
5. Proficient in the use of the Northstar Club Management software package for Swim billing. 
6. Performs administrative duties needed for HBCC.
7. Maintains facility by performing day to day activities as the position dictates.
8. Maintains a clear line of communication with HBCC staff.
9. Maintains a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
10. Promotes and implements all Club standards, procedures and policies.
11. Understands and complies with all policies set forth in the Club Employee Guide and Handbook.
12. Completes other special projects and assignments as directed by the Athletics and Youth Activities Manager.Education/Knowledge Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience or experience in a similar setting.
• Comfortable with computers and technology; ability to learn Microsoft Office and Northstar platforms.
• Knowledge of role during emergency situations. Aware of fire and life safety procedures.Skills/Abilities Required:
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and an open, courteous, and friendly personality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work morning/afternoon shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements:
• Continuous standing, walking, repetitive actions for extended periods of time.
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, pulling.
• Able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
• Frequently required to sit or stand at computer station for long periods.Environmental/Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in private club environment.
• Frequent contact with members, guests, employees and outside vendors, etc.
• Continual member and guest contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people.Reports to:
