Summit Dental is seeking a self-motivated, friendly and energetic Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing and quality-driven practice in Ruidoso, NM.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Take impressions and use an intraoral scanner
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Clean and set up operatories
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other treatment procedures
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Keep accurate and complete patient notes
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Superior verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- At ease with multitasking and team player
- Quick learner
- Dentrix experience is preferred but not required
- Works well with Team
