Originally built in 1929 as the University Club of Rochester, the building has since been beautifully restored into the Inn as it stands today. A 25-room tribute to the city’s prestigious history that exudes the glamour and grandeur of the Flower City. Through maintaining the buildings’ architectural integrity, along with modern enhancements, our aspiration is to cultivate a guest experience that will be one to remember.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience from check-in to check-out. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and provide them with outstanding service

- Check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy of information

- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries

- Assist with reservations and provide information about hotel amenities

- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner

- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction

- Perform night audit duties as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multiple phone lines

- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus

- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are an asset, but not required

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
