SB Clinical Practice Management is Hiring an Ambulatory Operations Coordinator Near Lake Grove, NY

Overview:

Ambulatory Operations Coordinator - Stony Brook Radiology, UFPC

Location: Lake Grove, NY

Schedule: Full Time

Days/Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:30pm ; Occasional Saturdays

Pay: $25.27 - $31.58

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: This position requires the incumbent to provide administrative support to the Practice. This position is essential to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

  • Research, analyze and evaluate data of various forms to make recommendations on various specialized projects
  • Provide clerical support specializing in calendar and time management
  • Perform a wide range of skilled administrative duties that will support ambulatory operations including coordinating office procedures and efficiencies
  • Coordination of various Ambulatory Operations projects driven by senior management
  • Screen and refer all incoming phone calls and visitors to ensure that accurate and timely communications are facilitated
  • Assist with projects specific to Ambulatory Operations
  • Maintain and develop integral relationships with executive team, referral sources, and outside vendors
  • Regularly engage in a variety of contacts with external and internal sources to exchange information, arrange meetings, etc.
  • Maintain proper levels of office inventories
  • Coordinate division events
  • Compile statistical, financial data and presentations as assigned
  • Develop and maintain strategies for increased patient satisfaction
  • Supervisory responsibility of front navigators to include, scheduling coverage for assigned areas, approval of payroll and paid time off
  • Will conduct performance evaluations in conjunction with the director of Ambulatory Operations, as well as work with the Ambulatory Operations team on interviewing candidates for open positions
  • Work with the Ambulatory Operations team to promote team work within the units assigned
  • Work under the guidance of the Ambulatory Operations team to manage conflict and disciplinary matters
Qualifications:

Required Education & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two (2) years of administrative/clerical experience.
  • Must have excellent expressive and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with patients, staff and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This position is largely sedentary and requires the employee to remain stationary for a majority of the day. Any additional physical demands will be outlined and provided by management.
