Overview:

We are looking for a cabinet assembler with previous experience in a cabinet manufacturing setting and possess expertise in using woodworking tools and equipment. You will be responsible for assembling and finishing custom cabinets according to specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements
• Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including shapers, table saws, miter saws, air and belt sanders, wide belt sanding machines, and finish sanders
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components
• Apply adhesives, hardware, and finishing materials to cabinet surfaces
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in assembly
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cabinet assembly or woodworking
• Proficiency in setting up and operating woodworking machinery, including shapers, table saws, miter saws, air and belt sanders, wide belt sanding machines, and finish sanders
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
