Position Summary:
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician will support SEIA’s Research Department and data engineers in procuring, analyzing, and publishing geospatial data relevant to the solar energy and energy storage industries in the United States. The GIS Technician will be responsible for making maps, transforming raw geographic data into usable maps and documents, and building/maintaining customized GIS databases/applications. They will read and interpret maps, manipulate and understand digital land data, and manage GIS data.

$65,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience and excellent benefits package
