Job Summary
Privately owned Seattle/Eastside homebuilder seeks a Warranty Technician that is excited about being part of a vibrant, growing company to address all on-site post-closing Warranty claims on single-family homes and town homes. This includes maintaining the highest quality customer service, supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices and respecting homeowner’s security and privacy.

The successful candidate must have the ability to present themselves well to home buyers, vendors, subcontractors, i.e., be well spoken, clean cut, neat in appearance, organized and exude confidence and control when communicating. This is a “bags-on” position. The candidate will need tools and an appropriate vehicle and the requisite skills to perform “handy man” type fixes.

This position requires a high level of construction and finish experience and knowledge.

This position will have the back up of an office staff person dedicated to homeowner contact, communication, and scheduling.

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete all assigned warrantable activities.

• Maintain a good working relationship with the customers and vendors/suppliers.
• Direct vendors, when necessary, to achieve completion of the warranty checklist on

schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to
original plans, specifications, and company standards.

• Order materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the

process.

• Understand the project plans, specifications and company standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers

and other employees.

• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectify

job site hazards immediately.

• Ensure that all company employees and contractors are adhering to the

company safety policy.

• Maintain an organized and clean job site and respect the customer’s home.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of successful bags on experience or Warranty experience with a production residential builder.
• Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control,

and production of all phases of residential construction.

• Experienced in managing multiple projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
