Shelter Harbor Golf Club is hiring full-time and part-time Servers to work early May through late October. Servers with seasonal availability are also encouraged to apply.

Shelter Harbor Golf Club, located in Charlestown, RI, is a private fine-dining establishment with a strong emphasis on superior service. A la carte lunch and dinner is served as well as hosting special member events and private functions. These include; golf outings, wine dinners, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, weddings, birthdays, business meetings, and more.

Interested candidates should be friendly, detail oriented, and a team player. SHGC maintains a friendly, respectful work environment with a focus on personal growth, teamwork, and a strong sense of hospitality.

While experience is beneficial, individuals with experience in food and beverage or a service-oriented position who may not have had the opportunity to serve yet are also encouraged to apply. A thorough training program is a part of the position for all team-members regardless of prior experience. This includes training on our POS system, order taking, steps of service, our menu and cocktail list, and much more.

SHGC pays employees an hourly rate. We are a non-tipping establishment. Servers are eligible for overtime hours if desired. All team members are eligible for a Holiday Bonus at the end of our season.

Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends. Our Dining Room is closed most Mondays.

Lunch shifts are typically 10:00am to 4:00pm. Dinner shifts are typically 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Double shifts are available to Servers who prefer those hours. Hours may vary for some events, with notice in advance.

Employee meals provided for all team members during shifts worked.

Some uniform pieces provided.
