Full-time position available at our San Diego (Kearny Mesa) office

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Self Determination Program Contract Supervisor, will download, review, and evaluate Purchase of Service (POS) requests, generate vendor contracts, input requested changes to existing authorizations, and generate invoices to vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

At least three (3) years of practical related experience in fiscal record keeping. Experience in computerized statistical reporting or electronic billing and payment is desired. Associate Degree in Accounting and hands on experience with computerized accounting systems or electronic billing and payment systems may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

OTHER

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology; general office procedures; Excel and data base systems; thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the Internet. Knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data; accuracy with mathematical calculations; define and problem solve. Ability to use independent judgement. Expertise with attention to detail, accuracy and speed; follow oral and written instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

STARTING SALARY

$23.78 to $26.16 an hour
