*About this Role:*
Personnel Services Unlimited is now hiring candidates for a *CNC Set -Up Machine Operator *opening in Gastonia, NC!
This temp-to-hire opportunity is available on 2nd shift and offers pay $15.00 - $17.00/HR based on experience.
*Responsibilities Included:*
The operator will work on the production floor setting up CNC Mills and Lathes.
* Confidently set up and operate CNC Vertical 3-axis Machining Center.
* Will perform some CNC programming.
* Successfully able to take blueprints and drawings to make a completed part.
* Produce a high-quality product by ensuring maintenance and quality checks on machines and finished products.
*Job Skills and Requirements:*
* Proven skills in Programming Setup and Operation of CNC Vertical Mills.
* Forklift Certified
* Will need to Supply Your own Tools (micrometers, calipers, edge finders, etc.)
* Ability to lift *50 lbs.* regularly, *75 lbs*. occasionally
* Read and interpret detailed Blueprints.
* Strong Quality Inspection skills with measurement tools
* Knowledge of shop math and computers
