About Muchin College Prep

Muchin College Prep (MCP) opened its doors in August of 2009 in the heart of Chicago’s Loop on the corner of State and Washington. Muchin’s 900 students hail from every Chicago zip code, forming a mini-Chicago within the school walls. Muchin offers rigorous learning experiences and a supportive community to prepare students for college and life. The next principal of MCP will inherit a vibrant school community that is poised for the next level of excellence.

The Role

A Noble principal ensures the campus they lead upholds and advances Noble’s vision, mission, values and commitments. Noble’s 17 principals are a cohesive and impressive community of leaders committed to excellence in leadership and management. Candidates with a strong history of the following will be considered for the role:

Performance: have a proven history of an ability to inspire, protect and deliver strong results through others.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational leadership roles, with at least 1 year as a principal.
  • Proven track record of driving academic excellence and outcomes in a school setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Leadership, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working in K-12 education landscape, track record of advocating for marginalized student populations and creating inclusive learning environments.

We strive to be among the best places to work in education, and our employee benefits are thoughtfully designed to support us in this ambition. Compensation is commensurate with experience for this role with an expected salary for this position starting at $150,000 annually.
