Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association is Hiring a Member Engagement and Internal Communications Team Lead Near Orlando, FL

Function: As a leading REALTOR Member Association, we are dedicated to fostering a thriving community of real estate professionals. We understand the pivotal role communication plays in enhancing member engagement, retention, and acquisition. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as our Member Engagement and Internal Communications Team Lead. This role, in conjunction with the Marketing Department, will focus on driving member satisfaction, strengthening retention efforts, acquiring new members, and ensuring effective internal communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Engagement and Retention
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies designed to enhance member engagement and satisfaction through mechanisms including:
    • Creation of a member and affiliate onboarding experience
    • Tailoring communication to targeted member segments/personas.
    • Creating and managing online platforms such as forums, social media groups, or discussion boards where members can connect with each other, share ideas, ask questions, and engage in discussions related to the organization's mission or activities.
  • Regularly assess member needs and preferences through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and other channels.
  • Develop a scoring and/or tier system for measuring member engagement and driving year-over-year increases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create campaigns, programs, and initiatives that add value to membership and encourage retention.
Member Acquisition
  • Lead efforts to identify and target potential new members within the real estate community.
  • Develop and execute acquisition campaigns and initiatives to attract new members/affiliates.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant organizations and stakeholders to expand membership reach.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise a team of professionals focused on member engagement, retention, and acquisition.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
Internal Communications:
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure alignment and engagement among team members.
  • Facilitate regular communication channels such as team meetings, newsletters, and intranet updates.
  • Ensure transparency and clarity in organizational policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration is required.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within an association or a similar industry.
  • Must have the capability to organize tasks effectively and efficiently, prioritize activities, set clear goals and objectives, and approach problems with a solutions-oriented mindset. Creativity in program and content development is crucial, as well as the ability to analyze diverse data sources for decision-making.
  • Demonstrated resilience in adapting swiftly to changing priorities and maintaining productivity under stress.
  • Openness to taking calculated risks and pursuing innovative solutions is essential.
  • The role demands high energy, a proactive approach, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record of motivating and influencing diverse, cross-functional teams at various organizational levels, including senior leadership and volunteers, as well as managing relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
  • High level of maturity, discretion, and organizational skills, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities are necessary.
  • Must have robust project management skills.
  • Experience in creating and distributing content, such as emails, newsletters, intranet articles, videos, and presentations, is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with key organizational stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop is a must.
  • A willingness to engage in continuous learning to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • The physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is needed.
