Job Summary:
M'tucci's Restaurants is seeking a Service and Scheduling Manager to join our team. Our salaried managers enjoy many industry perks, including optional health insurance benefits, paid vacation, and a four day work week. As the Service Manager, your primary focus is ensuring our guests have an amazing experience. You are responsible for managing all aspects of the hourly staff's performance, from ensuring company standards are upheld and practiced, to interacting with guests. This is a leadership role that requires a genuine love for guests satisfaction, a sharp eye for detail and excellent people skills. You will also assist with all the various day-to-day tasks involved in running the restaurant during all scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Service Operations Management:

  • A manager must be present on the floor and available at all times to support the service and staff
  • Observing and assessing staff performance, making sure we are following our Steps of Service in every position
  • Will be assigned a duty or task aside from daily shift management responsibilities as needed
  • Oversee and facilitate upkeep and maintenance for the interior and exterior of your home store

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Help recruit, train, and manage a team of friendly and professional FOH staff
  • Collaborate with scheduling manager about staff schedules to help provide adequate coverage while staying within budget • Assist with regular pre-shift meetings and team meetings and trainings
  • Oversee all new hourly staff training to ensure complete and proper techniques and procedures are learned and followed
  • Implement ongoing individual and team development opportunities such as educational classes, competitions, assigning projects

Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction:

  • Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service to ensure Guests have an amazing experience with us
  • Address Guest/Staff feedback and concerns to resolve any issues to their satisfaction
  • Connect with regular Guests, anticipate their preferences and provide personalized service
  • Promote team building and incentives

Scheduling Manager Duties and expectations:

  • Write weekly schedule for hourly staff using provided systems and processes
  • Manage staff requests and communicate any gaps in the schedule with GM
  • Coordinate and schedule all training shifts for trainees
  • Manage the schedule as needs arise throughout the week
  • Post schedule 2 weeks before that schedule's start date

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role in a similar restaurant concept is preferred
  • Ability to write a schedule using the tools provided
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost control
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and/or bar-related software
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work a 4-Day work week with the expectation of between 44-48 hours minimum for any given week, with exceptions for holidays, vacation coverage, promotions or other scheduling needs of the store are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
