About the Role
This position is responsible for the daily accounting functions and preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Supervise accounting functions of receivables, payables, and general administration.
- Oversee and prepare all account reconciliations.
- Gather and provide information to external auditors.
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting.
- Report on sales and use tax.
- Primary backup and support to the CFO
- Develop and maintain a written new hire orientation plan for new employees in this department.
- Supervise Accounting team
- Execute additional tasks as needed
Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration, required.
- Ten years or more of related experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
