Maintenance/Route Driver

Abts Equipment is seeking an individual to lead and operate an established route maintenance program for several dairy farms in the area.

Maintenance/Route

Deliver cleaning supplies and udder health products to customers
Diagnose, repair and replace/install parts as needed and when required.
Organize and implement a preventative maintenance program and schedule to maximize the reliability and safety of all of our equipment.
Establish standards, organize procedures and measure performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Plan ahead chemical and supplies to prevent down time
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Communicates conditions of equipment by completing appropriate maintenance records, transferring knowledge of conditions and informing management of significant problems.
Performs routine preventive maintenance procedures as per schedule.
Accurate and timely completion of required schedule maintenance items
Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes.
Follows all environmental protocols as applicable.
Follows all sanitation procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Be able to work in milking parlor conditions.
Ability to work a full day to get the job completed.
Ability to use a tablet and understand apps
Will need to obtain a CDL with HAZ MAT endorsement
Strong work ethic is needed
Effective communication skills, interpersonal skills needed for working dairymen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, based on experience level
