We are looking for an experienced and committed Interim Nurse Manager to join a local healthcare organization near Rock Hill, SC. As an Interim Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Med Surg nursing staff within an acute care setting. You will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Guide the nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.

- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

- Use electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic) for accurate documentation and record-keeping.

- Work with physicians and other healthcare providers on discharge planning for patients.

Skills:

- Valid nursing Registered Nurse (RN) license in SC or Compact license.

- 3-5 years of Med Surg leadership experience within an acute care setting.

- Correctional Care experience is a plus.

- BSN degree required, MSN preferred.
